February Festival 2016: "Joni & I" - Joanna Eden & the magical music of Joni Mitchell

Show Time 8:30pm / Doors Open 6:30pm

After a sell-out show last year at St.James Studio, Joanna Eden “the UK’s answer to Diana Krall and Nora Jones” – Time Out, arrives at The Pheasantry with this celebration of the life and music of iconic US singer/songwriter Joni Mitchell. Starting as a finger-picking folkie and winding up as a jazz-savvy experimentalist, Joni Mitchell brought a sharp eye, light touch and an agile trill of a voice to her songs, which have often dissected her romances and skewered myopic governments.
Mitchell repeatedly and adamantly expressed no regrets about the rocky course she set. “I would do it all over again in a minute for the musical education.”
