Sir Joe Quarterman is one of the USA’s most acclaimed Funk and Soul vocalists and with his band, Free Soul, released their single “(I Got) So Much Trouble on My Mind” in 1973, a hard hitting groove with a social message. Back on tour in Europe by popular demand, the Washington DC based singer performs in Maidstone for the first time. It's the real deal, characterised by social commentary lyrics, fat bass lines, soaring horns and relentless funky beats. This is will be a seriously funky night and is guaranteed to get you on the good foot!
