Following on from the sell-out success of last year's Valentine's Weekend award-winning rising star vocalist, Georgia Mancio, returns with a special Anti-Valentine's Day show with her acclaimed quartet. A fun night for those not wanting to (or for whatever reason not able to) celebrate the most romantic day of the year: this is a show for the single and/or cynical.
Having just marked the end of her first decade as a professional, Georgia is destined for great things this year with the release of her third album, Silhouette, in April. She has twice performed with the legendary Bobby McFerrin and collaborated with Ian Shaw, Liane Carroll, Sheila Jordan and The Frank Griffith Nonet.
Tonight with the sublime accompaniment of John Pearce (piano), Julie Walkington (bass) and Dave Ohm (drums), expect bittersweet love songs, witty jazz standards, storming Latin American songs and some wonderfully lyrical originals.
